Eucalyptus Staigeriana (BIO) - Aroma®

Eucalyptus staigeriana, also known as Lemon Ironbark or Lemon-scentred Ironbark, is a small, rough-barked tree native to North Queensland, Australia. The essential oil is steam-distilled from its grey-green lemon-scented leaves and has a sweet, fruity lemon scent with rosemary-like undertones. It does not have the same aroma or effects as Eucalyptus globulus, smithii or radiata. 

Eucalyptus staigeriana essential oil has a profoundly uplifting effect on the mind and immune system. It is very gentle in action and suitable for use with children. 

Skin: Eucalyptus staigeriana has an antiseptic, antibacterial action that is beneficial for wounds, abscesses, burns, ulcers and insect bites. Its antiviral properties can be helpful for herpes and warts, and it can be used in shampoos to treat dandruff.

Mind: Its uplifting, stimulating and anti-depressant qualities are beneficial for treating stress and mental exhaustion/laziness. It has a calming effect on the nervous system and can be used to cheer and comfort during times of uncertainty.

Body: Eucalyptus staigeriana has a profoundly uplifting effect on the mind and immune system. It is an effective pain reliever, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory and can help relieve muscle, nerve and joint pain. It is useful in inhalations for respiratory problems and can be vaporized during cold and flu season to help prevent the spread of germs. It can also help lower blood pressure.

Way of ussage:

In speaker:

• 3-6 drops in a diffuser (like Aroman®)
• Also compatible with Aroman® C100 diffuser

On the skin:

• Dilute 2-6 drops with 10ml of base oil (coconut oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, grape seed oil, rose hip oil)

Aufguss (sauna aromatherapy) :

• Place 2-6 drops on or inside ice cubes
• Put 2-6 drops on a towel, ventilating with it inside the sauna.
